A crisis of confidence. Banks stopped lending to each other, because of the toxic debt risky. The houses are overvalued, leading to price cuts. This makes banks, not nervous, because loans not backed by sufficient collateral. In this climate, where people are accustomed to, credit life, people tend to cut spending, particularly on discretionary items and thus a threat to employment. Basically, an economy in recession.

This includes estimates of profits and shareholder value, the deterioration of the pension system, qualifications, etc., the dissemination of financial despondancy mood.

FTSE is back on more than 6,000 pounds, but he is real, no, no and a free fall against most currencies outside the dollar --

It is still too early to something other than that everyone is tense and uncertain to say. However, the equity side of things seems much better than the retail real estate. I do not see a major correction may be avoided in residential construction in the United Kingdom. It may be necessary, but it is hell for many people.
